2[... ...] on the side of Qataban; and so, the share of the bnw S¹ṭrn of this palmgrove Mṭrn may 
3open the canal (used as a) watercourse (flowing) towards the East which takes out water from the oasis ʾ - 
4byn in order to irrigate the share of the bnw Gdnm of this palmgrove Mṭrn, facing Qataban; and, as for the bnw 
5Gdnm, so may they not lay claim to the bnw S¹ṭrn with regard to all of the crops which that canal will make produce, namely (with regard to) the 
6vine-stocks and the ʿlb trees which are in it on the side of the share of the bnw S¹ṭrn facing the West; and, as for the bnw S¹ṭr- 
7n and their children, so may they not hinder the bnw Gdnm and their children from the flowing for their benefit 
8of that canal as a watercourse for the irrigation of the share of the bnw Gdnm of this palmgrove Mṭrn, facing 
9Qataban.

1[...] sie erwerben und kaufen unter günstigen Bedingungen das Irrigations[gebiet] des Palmgartens Mata[ran]
2[...] welcher gerichtet ist nach Qataban, und das Irrigationsgebiet der Satran von diesem Palmgarten Mataran
3[...] ein Hauptkanal als Wasserlauf in Richtung Osten, welcher das Wasser entnimmt vom Oasengebiet Abyan 
4zur Bewässerung des Irrigationsgebietes der Sippe Gadanum desjenigen Teils dieses Palmgartens Maratan, welcher in Richtung nach qataban liegt. Und was die Sippe 
5Gadanum betrifft, so sollen sie nicht beanspruchen von der Sippe Satran etwas von jeglichen Früchten, welche jener Hauptkanal hervorbringt, und von den künstlich bewässerten Feldern
6und den (mit) ʿilb-Bäumen (überschatteten Feldern), die sich an ihm befinden auf der Seite des Bewässerungsgebietes, welches in Richtung Westen liegt. Und was die Sippe Satran betrifft
7und ihre Nachkommen, so sollen sie die Sippe Gadanum und deren Machkommen nicht daran hindern, für sich abzuleiten
8jenen Hauptkanal als Wasserlauf zur Bewässerung des Irrigationsgebiets der Sippe Gadanum desjenigen Teils des Palmgartens Mataran, welcher in Richtung
9Qataban liegt.
