1Thus decreed and ordained Ydʿʾl Byn, king of Sabaʾ, son 
2of Krbʾl Wtr, for his vassals (the tribes) Fayshān and Bakīl at 
3Shibām and at the citadel of ʾlw: anyone of whom it is proved that 
4he has gone out in public or attempted to do so, while in a leprous condition, in the domain of Fayshān, 
5shall be proclaimed an outlaw - in the month Ns¹wr of that particular year in which 
6he attempted to do so - in the sanctuary of ʾwm at the citadel of ʾlw, and this man, himself, 
7shall be put to death, and as for his property, shall the king 
8appropriate (that). Any man or woman of whom it is proved, from the tribe of 
9Fayshān and Bakīl at Shibām or the cities of the citadel 
10of ʾlw, either their male or female members, similarly to those [....] 
11? or woman of whom it is proved to be recovered (from that illness) and to have declared (that) (or: and they are proved (to be well)), 
12let (that person) be secluded from seven days, in consequence of the possibility that may die the one who may 
13die, and let himself die, that man or woman, 
14and as for his (or her) property, shall the king appropriate (that). 
15Any woman of whom it is proved that she has gone up, while in an impure condition, 
16into the sanctuary of ʾlmqh, Master of ʾwm, of the citadel of ʾlw . [... ...] 
17... or a woman [... ...] the tribe of Bakīl [... ...].

Translation Notes:

Beeston (1976 a: 418-419): "any such man or woman who is proved to have been exposed to contagion [without ?] keeping him or herself secluded for seven days from the time of death of someone who is put to death (as aforementioned); that man or woman shall him or herself be put to death and his property forfeited to the king".
