Translations:
1ʿlyn, of the family Ḏrʾn, and S²ʿbm, of the family Ḏrʾn, consecrated two bowls from the property of the god in the temple of Bnʾ and as a dedication it is found in Bnʾ and in Lbnn and it was forbidden to move from Bnʾ, as They ordered in Their oracle. 2Ḏrʾn Bnʾ Lbnn.
Translation Notes:
1The translation of ṣʾrtn as an indeterminate dual is purely hypothetical. The dedications are in two temples, but the substantive could be a determinate singular. The substantive is a hapax, without any sure Semitic etymology (see Müller 2002: 7).
The fact that the god to whom the dedication is made is not mentioned is uncommon.
