1Mʿdkrb ʾs¹ʾr, son of Whbʾl ʿmdn, Wtrm 2Yrtʿ and Lḥyʿt Bryn, ʾqwl of Rdmn and ḏ-Ḫwln, 3banū Maʿāhir and ḏ-Ḫwln, dedicated to his solar deity ʿlyt 4at Her (lit. his) mountain S²ḥrrm, the bow (?) and the helmet (?) 5when he stood out in Thmm for the killing of (his) second slave (fem.)(?). (Following Robin in l.4 and Stein 2003 in l.5).
Translation Notes:
"in Her fortress S²ḥrtm Rnntn and B[... ...] when he has irrigated the crop in Thmm during the conflict of the second vintage" (Jamme); "sur son mont S²ḥrtm, l'arc (?) et le casque, lorsqu'il a triomphé (?) de l'épreuve (?) en tuant (sa) deuxième esclave (?)" (Robin); Beeston (1988: 11-13) interprets ʿfr as a methatesis of frʿ "offer firstfruits" and thmm as "with promptitude, promptly".
