1Frʿm son of Mqrm and his sons 2S²rḥṯt, Hwfʿṯt and S¹ʾdʿwm 3descendants of ḏ-ʿqbn, dedicated to ʾlmqh 4Ṯhwn, Lord of ʾwm, the statue in bronze, in praise 5because he constructed and completed and finished off the 6cistern (?), the hall and the upper rooms of their palace 7ḏ-ʿqbn, and may ʾlmqh grant them prosperity 8and the goodwill and the satisfaction of their lord 9Wtrm Yhʾmn, king of Sabaʾ and ḏu-Raydān, 10son of ʾls²rḥ Yḥḍb, king of Sabaʾ 11and ḏu-Raydān, and may ʾlmqh help them 12against the malice of the enemy, by ʿṯtr and ʾlmqh.
Translation Notes:
5-7"they have built and covered and repaired the cistern and the incense-burner sanctuary and the upper room of their house, that of ʿqbn" (Jamme); s¹qh is translated on the basis of the Arabic siqqāyat "cistern, reservoir".
