1ʾbydʿ Yws²ʿ, he of Ḍrn, Gmln 2and ʾḥrm, administrator of Dtnt, directed the covering, 3that with polished stones, for the cladding 4of the basins, for the satisfaction of their lords S¹ʿdm 5Yhs¹kr and his sons, those of the clan Hṣ- 6bḥ, and may ʾln Master of heaven help them.
Translation Notes:
2-4"the extraction of the carved panels for the cladding docks of the basins" (the editor).
"pour l'enduit des bassins pour la satisfaction de leurs seigneurs" (Robin).
3According to A. Avanzini, ṣhrm can be interpreted as a Qatabanic masdar form.
