1Lḥyʿt ibn ḏ-Brʾn dedicated an incense-burner 2and crops to ʿṯtr S²rqn when he became governor 3in the palace of the banū Ṯʾrn ḏ-S¹lyt and ʿmrn, 4for the safety of his lord S²mr Yhrʿs² king of Sabaʾ 5and ḏu-Raydān, for the safety of their servant 6Lḥyʿt ibn Brʾn, for the safety of their vassals, 7the tribe of the inhabitants of the city of S¹lyt and 8of his family and of their lands (cultivated with) cereals of the autumn and of the summer 9and (with) vines in terracing, 10and may He repel locusts (?), damages, 11storms, sorceries and enemies.
