[....] the fire-altar of Tʾlb in Yṯʿt [... ...] 1[... ...] in front of Ẓbyn and he hewed out [... ...] 2Byḥn and he reinforced [... ...] 3and he leveled the road of the city Ḏmrmr from its lower part [up to the summit], 4when He preserved Sabaʾ and their expeditionary force during the war [... ...] 5between them. And when He preserved S¹mhʾfq, son of Yhʿn, qyl of 6S¹mʿy, and all his properties and his vassals, after that he marched out toward 7 [.]tkl (during) his enterprise. And Krbʾl, king of Sabaʾ, and Sabaʾ 8and the troops of the king gave to Mʿhrm one hundred and ten (pieces) as expression of gratitude.
Translation Notes:
7-8"seitdem er ausgehauen hatte (den Weg) zur B[urg und (jen)er] zog seinen (d. h. dem vom Stifter angelegten) Weg" (M. Höfner 1981);
"nachdem er ausgezogen (?) war nach (.)TKL (?) (während) seiner Unternehmung" (Stein 2003 a).
