1Ḏmrʿly Byn king of Sabaʾ son of 2S¹mhʿly Ynf built and completed the canal and the 3cistern for the irrigation of his palmgrove ḏ-Qlḥn.
Translation Notes:
2-3For the meaning of mlkdn, Beeston suggests to compare Heb. lkd "to capture".
3Qlḥn litterally means "raised water channel" (cf. Beeston et al. 1982: 104), but in this inscription it seems to be the proper name of the land (cf. Beeston 1952).
