1Wbḏs¹my ʾkyf, of the family Mlyḥm, 2dedicated to their Patron Tʾlb Rym, Lord of 3Kbdm, the statue in praise because He granted 4and gave His servant Whbḏs¹my 5all the favours, protection and good news 6he sought of Him, and because Ms¹ʿdm of the family Mlyḥm 7and the person who was with ihm from among their 8clients, the clients of the family Mlyḥm, [...] and started 9a prosecution against his person, 10in the presence of the king ʾnmrm. And Whbḏs¹my praised 11the might and the power of Tʾlb Rymm 12because He saved and delivered His servant Whbm 13from this judgment that the person Ms¹ʿdm and 14the latter's associate among their clients 15started against him. And 16may Tʾlb continue to grant 17and to bestow to His servant Whbm with 18all the favour he sought from Him, and to 19grant the goodwill and the favour of their 20lords, the kings.
Translation Notes:
6-8"and because his legal opponent Ms¹ʿdm of the clan Mlyḥm and the person who was associated with him from among their clients, namely the clients of the clan Mlyḥm, were judged and condemned by the king ʾnmrm" (Beeston 1954).
13-15"out of this judgment, wherein his [adversary?] the individual Ms¹ʿdm and the latter's associate among their clients were condemned" (Beeston 1954).
